THE BOXER BREED
The Boxer is an energetic and playful dog that does not mature for 3-4 years and always acts like a puppy. Boxers need to be with their family and thrive on human companionship. They are not suited to be a "backyard dog" type. Though Boxers have a short coat, they do shed hair when the weather changes. Boxers suffer from exposure to extreme temperatures. They are house dogs although they love plenty of outside time. The average height of a full grown Boxer is 21-25 inches high at the shoulder and their weight is 50-80 pounds.
